DAY 1 - International Arrival, Delhi at Leisure

Welcome to India! Upon arrival at India Gandhi International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative. Then, you will head straight to the Yamuna Expressway leading to Agra, by a private A/C car, involving a 220 km long Journey. En route, you can stop for photography, rest and/or food & beverages. Assuming you will comfortably reach Agra by evening, you can go to Mehtab Bagh during sunset to watch the Taj Mahal turn orange with the setting sun and enjoy the light and sound show in Agra Fort later in the evening. You can also visit the Agra Fort to experience the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience.

DAY 2 - Exploring Agra & Taj Mahal & head toward Jaipur

Right after breakfast, you will be taken to visit the Taj Mahal early in the morning so that you can enjoy the magnificent, cloud like view it has at sunrise. (About Taj) The Taj Mahal is an enormous mausoleum complex commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the remains of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Constructed over a period of 20-years on the southern bank of the Yamuna River in Agra, India, is one of the most outstanding examples of Mughal architecture, which combined Indian, Persian and Islamic influences. Built of the shimmering white marble, it seems to change color depending on the daylight. Thereafter, you will be headed to Jaipur, a 249 kms/150 miles - 5 hours journey by car. En-route, you will visit Fatehpur Sikri (old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty). Post which, you get to explore the beautiful Jama Masjid/The Buland Darwaza, palace of Queen Jodha Bai, Birbal's (a Minister).

DAY 3 - Forts & Places of Jaipur

After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you leave for a half-day sightseeing tour to the hilltop fortress at of the splendid Amer Fort. It is the principal tourist attraction of Jaipur and is a UNESCO world heritage site. Built of red sandstone and marble, the fort flaunts a wonderful blend of Hindu and Rajput style of architecture. The Fort, originally built in the 16th century by Maharaja Man Singh encloses superb palaces and a beautiful temple in marble dedicated to the fearsome goddess Kali. Another main attraction of the Fort is its glittering Sheesh Mahal. Post Lunch in the noon, a tour would be taken to the old walled city of Jaipur. Founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II, this pink city is meticulously constructed on the lines of the Shilpa-Shastra, an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture. Visit the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory situated in the heart of the city. Built in the 1700's (A.D), with its futuristic look. Towards the evening, wonder around the palace of winds - Hawa Mahal. The old City Palace & its museum display a rare fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture and house a rare collection of paintings, Rajasthani armory, and costumes. Evening visit will be to Chokhi Dhani: an ethnic village resort (which is optional). The vitality of Rajasthani folk culture comes alive in the Golden Triangle Tours as the children dance rhythmically to the loud tenor of folk songs sung by men and women, festooned in bright clothes. Gaily caparisoned camel, horses, and bullock carts offer joy rides. Overnight stay will be in Jaipur.

DAY 4 - Jaipur Local Sightseeing and drive back to Delhi

Today first half of the day is free at your leisure or can explore the city with the car at your disposal. Jaipur is world famous for real stone jewelry and handicrafts, so shop away! Post that, you would be driven back to Delhi and further transferred to hotel/airport/railway station for the onward journey. Your tour come to end but it’s the sweet memories and vivid colors of India that will remain with you for life.
