DAY 1 - Arrival at Varanasi

You will get a warm welcome from our official at the Airport or Railway Station. Our representative will accompany you to the hotel, booked for you. You will get all your tour related papers and a short description about the tour from him. Once you are settled and well rested, you can proceed to the hotel restaurant for lunch, post which you will move towards Sarnath to get the glimpses of the Buddhist monuments and edifices covering Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Sarnath Museum and Mulagadha Kuti Vihar. In the evening, you get to witness one of the major attractions of Varanasi – The grand Aarti ceremony performed by several priests on the banks of River Ganges. You get to hear the majestic sound of Sanskrit mantras, drums, bells and cymbals. Overnight stay will be in Varanasi.

DAY 2 -Boating on River Ganges - Heritage Walk in Varanasi

The day starts with an early boat ride across the river Ganges. Visit numerous temples alongside river Ganga and get a closer look at the Hinduism culture in Varanasi. Taking a walk in the narrow street of Old Varanasi while observing the daily life of the natives. You will also be visiting the Kashi Vishwanath temple (or The Golden Temple). Evenings will be for some souvenir shopping and a lovely walk alongside Ganga. You can also enjoy the street food while you’re at it. Overnight stay will be in Varanasi.

DAY 3 - Varanasi - Khajuraho (400km journey)

The drive from Varanasi to Khajuraho is a beautiful run through the rural India. This will be your chance to explore the true India that comes from numerous villages and small towns. Overnight stay will be in Khajuraho.

DAY 4 - Visit Khajuraho and Orchha

Finally, off to visit the temples at Khajuraho, which are the best examples of Indian art and architecture. They are one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India. Famous for the sculptures on the walls of the temples, depicting the love and passion in human relationships. An Eastern and Western group of temples where fortnight sculptures celebrate the joy of life and love for which there is probably no equivalent in the world. Visit Lakshmana Temple, Kandariya Mahadev Temple, Duladeo Temple, Devi Jagadambi Temple, Javari Temple, Chaturbhuj Temple xand Vamana Temple. Post lunch, you will proceed towards Orchha, a beautiful city known for Ram Raja Temple and a fort. Overnight stay will be in Orchha.

DAY 5 - Rural Tourism and Jhansi

Visit the beautiful village in Orcha, famous for its rural eco-tourism. Post which, you will proceed towards the city of Jhansi. After lunch and a little bit of rest, evening will be reserved to visit the magnificent Jhansi fort on the hilltop. Overnight stay will be in Jhansi.

DAY 6 - Travel to Agra, Exploring Taj Mahal & other forts

After a hearty breakfast, you start your journey for Agra, which is an easy 250 km, 6 hours. Assuming you will comfortably reach Agra by evening, you can go to Mehtab Bagh during sunset to watch the Taj Mahal turn orange with the setting sun. You can also visit the Agra Fort to experience the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience and enjoy the light and sound show in the Fort later. Overnight stay will be in Agra.

DAY 7 - Taj Mahal, Shilpagram and others

After breakfast, you will be taken to visit the Taj Mahal early in the morning so that you can enjoy the magnificent, cloud like view it has at sunrise. The crowd is also very less in the morning and you can enjoy the tranquillity of the tomb. You get to spend a few hours around the monument in peace before you leave for lunch on the streets of Agra. After lunch a visit to the Shilpagram. Shilpagram is a crafts village near Agra. It is an open-air emporium showcasing various artefacts. You can witness superior, fine and intricate craftsmanship at this place. You can also shop their for leather goods, crafts, rugs, fine embroidered suits, brassware, lamps, metalware, fine peitra dura work, and carpets. Overnight stay will be in Agra.

DAY 8 - Agra - Delhi (250 KM/ 4 hours)

You will proceed towards Delhi right after breakfast. Driving through one of the best highways of India – the Yamuna Expressway. On reaching Delhi, our team will bid you a final farewell as you board your flight for the onward destination.
